The Ukrainian Conflict is responsible for over 500 000 deaths on the Ukrainian side.

We need the Ukrainians alive. If war goes on for another 10 years than calculate the death toll from that, right?

Situation on the ground: no proper air-support no proper artillery system setup for the Ukrainians.

This means all of the counter offensive is meaningless, some symbolic minor victories are possible but on the long run Ukrainians will just loose their edge in the region.

Either A) Have a several stage NATO defense structure with artillery and air-support available from central European countries for their own defenses

B) Western forces could retreat behind the Dnieper and wait for systematic changes across the world as the west looks inwards the resolve its more pressing issues.
