Imagine a warm, golden light starting at the top of your head. Feel this light spreading slowly down your body, relaxing each muscle as it goes. Feel it moving down your forehead, relaxing your eyes, your cheeks, your jaw. This warm light continues to flow down your neck, into your shoulders, releasing any tension. It moves down your arms, your hands, and each finger, making them heavy and relaxed.

Now, this golden light travels down your chest, your back, your stomach, and your hips. It continues down your legs, your knees, your calves, your ankles, and finally your feet. Feel this warm, relaxing light enveloping your entire body, taking you deeper into relaxation with each breath you take.

Deepening:

Picture yourself standing at the top of a beautiful staircase. This staircase has ten steps, and with each step you take down, you will feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed. With each step, your mind will become more open, more focused, and more receptive.

Take the first step down… feeling more relaxed. Second step… deeper and deeper. Third step… even more calm and at peace. Fourth step… sinking deeper. Fifth step… halfway down, feeling so relaxed. Sixth step… more and more at ease. Seventh step… deeper still. Eighth step… almost there. Ninth step… so very relaxed. Tenth step… now you are at the bottom, completely relaxed, completely at ease.

Suggestion:

Now, in this deep state of relaxation, imagine yourself in a peaceful, serene place. This can be a beach, a forest, a mountain, or any place where you feel completely at peace. As you stand in this place, you notice a strong, ancient tree nearby. This tree has deep roots that anchor it firmly into the ground, and strong branches that reach towards the sky.

Approach this tree and place your hand on its trunk. Feel its strength and stability. As you connect with this tree, feel its strength flowing into you. Feel its patience, having stood tall and unwavering for many years, through all seasons and weather. This tree is a symbol of your inner strength and patience.

Now, repeat these affirmations silently or out loud, feeling their truth resonate within you:

  • I am strong and resilient.
  • My willpower grows stronger every day.
  • I am patient and calm in all situations.
  • I have the power to achieve my goals.
